Struggle is Real for everyone and one must always keep making ways so as to succeed. Having a passion is not just enough for survival is what everyone says which is true, but have a passion that always keep your soul alive no matter whatever you do. This blog is about the “Journey Within Me” & how it all started and awaken the Photographer inside me.
Being a Photographer let that be any genre make sure you excellence in it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and his vision makes him capture that in unique way.
Throwback to the most amazing moment of my life till now where I got a chance to visit SriLanka for free, yes you heard it right ! Free . It all started where I pursued my dream of making my passion as my career in 2014 at a Photography Institute. While pursing I got a chance explore to many places & different faces.
All thanks to the Head of Photography Institute who gave me such beautiful chance and helped me understand where I stand. Just a few moments before the course was about to end, I received a call from my ma’am saying do you have a passport ? The very first statement which I gave was No, but Why ? She said keep it ready and rest everything will be informed later. The very next day I applied for my passport & got the procedure completed within 20 days.
Now was the time where I was waiting what could be that surprise ? Was waiting to get informed and excited enough. Next day morning I was heading towards station I received a call from my ma’am saying SriLanka Chaloge ? And I was liked stunned like what to express , where & how. Controlled my emotions & said yes ma’am, then she explained me that it is a sponsored tour by a company to shoot their event at SriLanka.
Just after few seconds I again received a call saying I am sorry, but they are looking for a female photographer so better luck next time. Now like everyone else, who wouldn’t feel bad if you a miss such wonderful chance as it was my very first International Tour.
Stood in the ticket que & again received a called saying “Teri chiz tere paas agayi” ( what your’s will never go away from you ), I was so excited & gave a call to my mom sharing this wonderful news. Next day was being invited at the same institute to discuss the tour plan. And came to know that I was being selected from a batch of 250 plus students to cover this event, and that was the most Proud & Precious moment of my life.
Everything went amazing, it was an “Water Sports Adventure Event” where we where supposed to shoot all the event by being inside the water boat. Sports included Kayaking, Mangroves boating, etc. It was a lifetime experience which still keeps me alive each single moment.
And that’s why the name, the Journey Within Me.
